Since it was announced back in June, Sony’s been fairly quiet about MotorStorm Apocalypse, the third PS3 entry in the arcade-styled racing series. But new details on the game have been released today through the European PlayStation Blog, including a new video showing off one of the game’s tracks and a narrowed global release window of spring, 2011.

A few of the new features revealed include “a sophisticated Photo Mode” that’ll allow players to take pictures mid-race, along with “some simple tools that allow for fantastic post-effects.” Developer Evolution Studios also promised to support the game after release “to develop some of the concepts we haven’t been able to find time for in development, including a special island track we’re hoping to be able to give away for free.”

Other details revealed include “flamboyant gestures” to taunt your opponents, perks that allow for “full visual customization and performance customization,” and a demo promised for 2011 (presumably before the game comes out in spring, but this wasn’t actually specified).
